Code of Conduct for Good for All News
Good for All News and its contributors are excited to bring this community up to date news on conservation, the environment, chimpanzees, other endangered species and all other topics we see fit. Part of the reason this forum is here is to create open and stimulating discussion amongst our readers, however there are a few things to keep in mind:
Be Respectful: Be respectful to both authors and other commenters. While a difference of opinion is part of a discussion and encouraged in this space, comments with name calling, hate, spam and negative remarks and words we see as improper will not be posted.
Make a Positive Impact: Good for All News intends to only spread positive news and that applies to comments as well. When commenting or sharing a story with us, make sure you are benefiting the community; negative posts will not be shown on the site.
We have the final say: The JGI staff will moderate and remove any comments that we deem inappropriate for Good for All News. Additionally, we reserve the right to permanently restrict any user’s comments or use of our site with repeated inappropriate behavior.
If your comments do not appear on the site, they may appear on our Facebook page or are under consideration and have not necessarily been denied.
Posting Content
When you post content, which consists of any form of media, comments, or potential stories, you grant us the right to post this content on Good for All News, to store this content, or to alter it to comply within the limits of the Jane Goodall Institute’s mission statement and the values of Good for All News, regardless of any copyrights.
The Jane Goodall Institute holds no liability to the information that you have posted on Good for All News, you hold all responsibility for any repercussions that may occur. If your content violates any laws or regulations, you will bear the full responsibility.
Comments
All comments must be align with our Code of Conduct above. It is up to the discretion of the Jane Goodall Staff to decide whether a comment is appropriate. The Jane Goodall Institute Staff will premonitor comments.
Do not submit comments multiple times. There is a high volume of comments to review and increasing the volume will not help your comment’s likelihood to be posted. However if you have any questions, please contact webmaster@jangoodall.org.
All comments must be submitted through Facebook. This allows for your comments to show up on our Facebook page. For more information about what information will be retained, please see our privacy Policy.
Finally, if a user repeatedly post comments that violate the Code of Conduct, the JGI staff may suspend or discontinue their ability to comment or their use of Good for All News.
Use of Our Site
Good for All News is available to users “as is.” There are no guarantees that it will be provided error free, uninterrupted, accurately, or in a timely manner.
Users must be 13 years of age to use our site, keep contact information up to date, and will not impersonate others. For more information about children’s privacy, please see our privacy policy.
Any and all material on Good for All News may be edited or removed at any time by the Jane Goodall Institute staff, however we will take the appropriate steps to make posts as accurate as possible the first time.
Good for All News and its content is protected by all intellectual property laws, violation of these laws will result in the appropriate recourse.
Once a user has submitted material to Good for All News, we have to right to alter and edit it, regardless of outside copyrights and future copyrights. If you believe your copyright is being infringed upon, you have the right to take action, however the Jane Goodall Institute holds no liability for what happens to material that you have submitted to Good for All News.
We are not liable for any damages or losses you incur due to our site.
