Roots & Shoots NYLC Visits California!

0

Year-round, the Roots & Shoots U.S. National Youth Leadership Council members live by Dr. Jane’s inspirational quote, “What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” This past week, from August 1-5, twenty-two youth leaders gathered with Roots & Shoots staff in southern California for their annual NYLC Summit. The week consisted of everything from youth leader project presentations, to exploring GIS mapping at Esri Headquarters, to building an irrigation system at a local school garden. Watch NYLC member Olivia Colombo’s adventures with the Council throughout the week.
